About

Tampa Preparatory School is a coeducational, nonsectarian independent college-prep school serving grades 6-12 on a downtown Tampa campus along the Hillsborough Riverwalk. It is the only independent school in Tampa Bay covering the full 6-12 range. The Upper School offers four academic concentrations (Arts, Biomedical Sciences, Global Studies, and STEM/Engineering) plus 20+ AP courses across all major disciplines. Middle School students begin with Prima Lingua in 6th grade before choosing Spanish, French, or Latin. The school is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and is a member of NAIS. Tampa Prep competes in 20+ interscholastic sports and activities.
