1. Acceptance of these terms
By using FitMySchool(the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What FitMySchoolis — and isn't
FitMySchoolhelps families discover K-12 schools that fit their child, using publicly available school data and director interviews. We provide information and matching — we don't make admissions decisions, sell admissions, or guarantee any outcome.
No admission guarantee. Match results, fit indicators, and admission likelihood estimates are informational only. Schools make their own admissions decisions on their own criteria. Nothing on this site is a promise that any school will admit your child.
3. Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
- Provide false information about a child or family.
- Scrape, copy, or republish school data, match results, or other content from the Service for commercial use without written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our matching system, fit scoring, or admission likelihood estimates.
- Use the Service to harass schools, directors, or other families.
- Interfere with the Service's normal operation.
4. Content and intellectual property
The Service — including the matching system, school summaries, category pages, copy, design, and aggregated data — is owned by FitMySchool and protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial use.
Information you submit (quiz answers, profile data) stays yours. You grant FitMySchool a limited license to use it to match schools to your child and to improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Privacy
How we collect, use, and share your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. We never sell your data.
6. School information and third-party content
School details (tuition, programs, deadlines, contact info) come from public sources and from interviews with school directors. We work to keep this data fresh, but it can change without notice. Always confirm tuition, deadlines, and admission requirements directly with the school before you apply.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any school data will be perfectly accurate or current.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitMySchool and its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including admission outcomes, tuition decisions, or school-fit decisions you make based on information from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is Terms of Use v1.0, dated 2026-05-25. If we make material changes, we'll announce them by email to anyone with an account before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
