Berkeley Preparatory School is a coeducational, independent, Episcopal day school founded in 1960 and serving PK-12 on an 86-acre campus at 4811 Kelly Road in the Town 'n' Country area of Tampa. The Upper Division offers roughly 30 Advanced Placement courses across all academic disciplines, with an 88% AP pass rate (2023) on 904 exams. Signature programs include the Center for Advanced Experiential Learning, the Lasher Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Studies (BUC Ventures), Global Scholars, and the Leadership Academy at Berkeley. Berkeley is an Apple Distinguished School and emphasizes need-based tuition assistance funded through donor endowments rather than merit scholarships. Athletics, visual arts, music, and theatre programs operate across all divisions.
