Tampa Catholic High School is a coeducational Catholic college-preparatory school for grades 9-12, opened September 4, 1962, by the Diocese of St. Augustine to serve Hillsborough County Catholic families. The school operates at 4630 N. Rome Avenue in Tampa and enrolls roughly 780 students. Admissions require the HSPT (High School Placement Test). Advanced Placement courses are available beginning freshman year with no cap on AP enrollment per semester; the school also operates dual-enrollment partnerships. Tuition includes a school-designated Apple iPad with a three-year AppleCare insurance plan. Florida state scholarships — Step Up For Students FTC, FES-EO, and FES-UA — are accepted, along with parish-affiliated tuition rates. Approximately 75% of graduates enroll in 4-year colleges.
