About

Northside Christian School (NCS) is a PK-12 Christian school at 7777 62nd Avenue North in St. Petersburg, founded in 1971 as an educational ministry of Northside Baptist Church. NCS issues every K-12 student a school-provided iPad with AppleCare+, and tuition covers athletics, field trips, and supplies. The Upper School operates an AP Academy track for advanced students with additional AP coursework and testing-strategy training. Athletics include 28 competitive middle-school, JV, and varsity teams, plus the Junior Mustangs preschool program; a state-champion marching band anchors the music program along with required elementary band, piano, and choir. NCS is accredited by SACS (Cognia) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). About 95% of graduates pursue higher education.
